FoABW Members and Non-members are invited to attend the following practical conservation or special events. Our practical conservation events include coppicing. We have a short refreshment break. It is not all heavy work! Litter picking and other light work for the less fit is also an important element of our work. All tools are provided. Do come along and give us a try - we always need new helpers to ensure our woods are cared for effectively. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult. For more information, please contact Janice Tipping on 07752 003529 or after 6.30 p.m. on 01444 414053.
See 'About Us' page for updates about the Bolnore Village Development.

FoABW have been working with Bolnore Village School who now have a thriving 'Forest School' project which is being led for them by Sussex Wildlife Trust. This project started in January 2010, with weekly sessions for the children continuing to be led by Sussex Wildlife Trust and Sarah Witts. For more information about the ideas behind the setting up of the Forest School, read this letter from the Headteacher.
